WORLD KIDNEY DAY OBSERVED

The World Kidney Day is observed across the world on the second Thursday in March every year. The day is observed in a befitting manner in Bangladesh as like other countries of the world. As a leading kidney related organization, KAMPS undertakes a series of programs in observance of the world kidney day every year. It brings out rallies, distributes leaflets, displays posters, banners and organizes roundtable meetings in presence of community leaders, doctors, teachers, intellectuals, journalists and writers aiming to create awareness of kidney diseases and its prevention. The events are widely covered by the number of electronic and print media in the country. To mark the day, KAMPS brings out a colorful rally in the city. Wearing T-shirts, holding placards and two big Kidney Symbols, the participants parade different parts of the city. KAMPS Chairman and prominent Kidney Specialist Professor Dr. M A Samad lead the rally with hundreds of other distinguished guests, members of KAMPS, students and people of all strata of the society.  A mobile Truck, decorated with colorful posters, banners and festoons, bearing awareness messages go round the city distributing leaflets regarding kidney disease information.
